Reasons Someone Would Favor a Square Folding Card Table?

By Jeff West

We could think of several reasons why a person would favor a square folding card table, however you may be able to do so as well. It is probable that the answers will not be the same. That is why we will look further into some of the reasons. You will likely find some new ideas in the end.

Dimensions of the Room

This is frequently the first reason that is different from many people's answers. You have most likely moved furniture around before in your sitting room or living room. How many times have you tried to arrange a couch or chair up against a wall, and it did not look right where you put it? That is a common occurrence and is the reason why most units of furniture outside your sitting areas are square shaped.

Now because the walls have squared corners, it is ideal to have a square folding card table that you can place to fit in nicely in a certain area. A good idea would be to situate it between two recliners, and there it can serve as a regular table, but when the weekend comes, it will become a poker table.

The Size

Keep in mind we have a smaller version that we enjoy playing Blackjack on, but if you need something for Holdem it's out there. However, size is important when it comes to a Square Folding Card Table. So when you take a look at them, make sure you check all the variations out there.

Hiding It Away

There are many places you can stash away a square folding card table. However, there are not certainly as many places where you can easily hide a round one. A convenient thing to do when wanting to hide away your table is that you can just fold it up and fit it nicely along a back wall, and pull it out when you want to use it next.

We have a friend that bought a round model table and hid it away under his bed when he was a child. His family loathed any kind of gambling and the only way he could have his friends over to play was to have the games in his room, and lock the door. Eventually, the family found the table and our friend was caught. It was because the round borders on his table were so obvious on each side and could be seen easily. Now you may not have this problem, but this is merely an example that adds to our point.

The Appeal

Overall, things tend to blend in well together with a square folding card table. If you want to display it out in the open, you want it to look good and not be an eye sore. As well, can you imagine if you had to move everything around in your house just so you could find a place to put your new card table? Keep this fact in mind when you prepare to purchase one.
