Looking For A Good Film? Check Out These Great Film Commentaries

One concern may be that you may not want to watch a movie while you are sitting at your computer. Of course if you are downloading games that may be different but for a movie it is nice to kick back and unwind in your beloved chair, with popcorn and your favorite beverage. But that is not something that needs to concern you as you can ordinarily burn the movie to a DVD format so you can watch it on your TV.

Only You - Pleasant confection in reference to a youthful female who invests her entire life looking for her perfect mate whose name was summoned up on a Ouija board. Cast includes Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey, Jr., Bonnie Seek, Joaquim De Almeida, Fisher Stevens, and Phyllis Newman. (108 minutes,'94)

High Crimes - Lawyer Claire Kubik has just been told that her spouse is not who she thinks he is. Tom Kubik is actually Ron Chapman, and he is on trial in the military justice system for the assassination of villagers in Latin America. Claire takes on the case but just what will she discover, as the facts are unraveled?

Dracula - Gloomy retelling of the Bram Stoker classic, with Langella's esteemed Broadway depiction lost among trendy terror gimmicks and ill-imagined modifications in the original tale. The movie was filmed in England. Cast includes Frank Langella, Laurence Olivier, Donald Pleasence, Kate Nelligan, Trevor Eve, Janine Duvitski, and Tony Haygarth. (109 minutes,'79)

Number One with a Bullet - Carradine and Williams do well in this somewhat average action motion picture where we have aggressive investigators out to depose a drug kingpin. Cast includes Robert Carradine, Billy Dee Williams, Valerie Bertinelli, Peter Graves, Doris Roberts, and Bobby DiCicco. (101 minutes,'87)

The All-American Boy - Cluttered drama in reference to Olympic hopeful Voight's effort to be a victorious boxer; striking locations of northern California, but that is all. Cast includes Jon Voight, Ned Glass, Anne Archer, and Carol Androsky. (104 minutes,'89)
