For me, a great golf course should be characterized by rich historical background, world class facilities, breath-taking scenery and rising popularity.
Although it is difficult for all golf players to reach an agreement on the best course in the world, I still feel like to share with you two of my top favorites where you can play this wonderful game. I vote for them not just for the technical challenge they impose on golf players, but also for the extra features that adds to your golfing fun.
1. The Eagle Point Golf Club
This par-72 golf club is situated in the eastern part of North Carolina, and is a low-profile course that keeps amazing golfers at various skill levels. With its easily accessible greens, you can choose to walk as you go through different holes. Guests may also like to use the club's very nice caddie service, as well as the tennis and swimming facilities.
The club owns a golfing ground of mover 7,000 yards, with a 74.5 rating and replete with 137 slopes for golfer to test their mettle. Although the Americans were the final winners of the the contest, the act was forever etched in the annals of the sporting world. Many years later, the two golf legends started to develop a golf club on a 1,200-acre property which is free from other housing plans. The club is composed of 7,470 yards with 155 slopes and 77.6 rating, and is superior in its landscaping and fairway bunkers This is exactly what has made it one of the best - it is challenging and enjoyable.
